Two presentations at the 9th strategic competence based management symposium in Bochum
Madeleine Rauch and Michael Hartmann, two members of the 3. cohort, presented two papers at the 9th strategic competence based management symposium at the Ruhr University Bochum on 21.-23.10.2015. The conference theme was “Explicating the Multi-Level-Perspective of Dynamic Capability Research”. Michael and Madeleine presented a paper on “Reflecting on dynamic capabilities research and its approaches to explain organizational success”, which critically analyzes the research field of dynamic capabilities. In addition, Madeleine presented a paper on “Revisiting Strategic Decision-Making: Heuristics, Simples Rules, Rules of Thumb and their relationship to dynamic capabilities” which represents a review and synthesis on strategic decision-making and dynamic capabilities. Both of the paper were developed in cooperation with Prof. Jochen Koch (European University Viadrina).
